The most quietly powerful stop on the entire Mumbai Shore Excursion. This two-storey house in Gamdevi was Mahatma Gandhi's base from 1917 to 1934. His room is untouched, his spinning wheel still sits where he left it, and the diorama hall tells the full story of India's independence movement through 22 handcrafted scenes.
